In 'Intermodulation II', I have mainly collaborated with Powerdove(http://www.annielewandowski.com/).

My on-going art installation called 'Intermodulator' have been developed through this collaboration. Intermodulator is a sound responsive installation comprised of ordinary box fans and backlights. In this installation, the speed of the individual fans and the brightness of the backlight respond to the pitch and volume of different sound sources. When a certain resonance and balance are achieved, the oppositely-facing fans produce a seemingly stationary or ‘moire' effect, an illusion produced from the visual interference of two oppositely rotating objects. Recently, I have also developed and presented a simpler system called 'soundBug' that interacts with Annie's voice without fans.
